SAMMY SILVA (Principal Director)

Jazz/Funk/Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary

Samantha, since the age of 5, has immersed herself in all areas of the entertainment industry and has extensively trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, JFH, Musical Theatre, singing and acting, which has developed into a diverse career.

As a dancer, Samantha has performed in numerous corporate performances, events, film clips, live shows and children’s entertainment, including: Cassie Davis, Guy Sebastian, Human Nature, Jon Stevens, Mission Australia, Celebrity Theatre Sports, Rhythm Works Oz (Tap) and many live kids shows.

Samantha has also had a successful career as a choreographer, which is continuing to grow. She has had numerous choreographic involvement with such events as High School Dance Comps, Celebrity Theatre Sports, and School Spectacular. Samantha has made a number of TV appearances including mini series for the ABC, Big Unit Studios and Government TVC/Print campaign.

Having been involved in teaching for over 10 years, Samantha brings her training and fun energy to every class.  Her love for dance is channeled through her teaching as she believes in the dancer in everyone.



Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, JFH

CoCo has been performing most of her life. She has trained in various styles of dance focusing on jazz, tap and contemporary. She has trained at  ED5 INTERNATIONAL – where she fulfilled an Advanced Diploma in performing arts under the guidance of William Forsythe.

CoCo recently performed in Carols in the domain with Todd Mckenney and Matt Lee. CoCo also performed in the Arnott’s Gala, Save our sons Gala, A private event with Marcia Hines, The Voice and performed and choreographed many school fundraisers.

CoCo feels passionate about nurturing younger and future performing artists, coaching & choreographing with them. She hopes to add as much passion, expression and honesty to the performing arts industry and those entering as she can.



Show Group & Elite

Laura Dimas, originally from Adelaide, has been dancing since the age of two. After 15 years of training she moved to Sydney to study dance fulltime at Brent Street in 2017.

Throughout her life as a dancer thus far she has performed in a number of productions in Australia and Europe. Touring with AYPAT (Australian Youth Classical Ballet Company) Laura has performed in Hong Kong, Paris and London, in Disneyland and Sadler’s Wells Theatre.

In 2018 Laura completed a 3bmonth intensive at The Dream Dance Showbiz run by Marko Panzic.In February 2020, Laura performed in Frolics and Follies at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Laura is a passionate and dedicated mentor to young dancers wanting to excel in their dance and performance abilities.



RAD Ballet

Sophie Wighton began training in classical ballet at the Edge Ballet Academy in 1994. Sophie furthered her training at Ev and Bow Full-Time Dance Training Centre in 2011 under the direction of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. Sophie also completed all her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams up to Advanced 2.

Sophie has also completed a Bachelor of Dance, majoring in Classical Ballet and Contemporary through Wesley Institute and Academy of Music and Performance Arts (AMPA). In 2012 Sophie completed the Royal Academy of Dance’s Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies to become a registered teacher with the RAD.

Sophie danced professionally in a contemporary dance company, Austinmer Dance Theatre from 2012-2013. Sophie also completed a secondment with Sydney Dance Company in 2014.  

For the past ten years, Sophie has taught classical ballet and contemporary at numerous dance schools across Sydney, entering students into RAD Ballet exams for, with a majority distinction rate.  

Sophie has a passion for inspiring students to reach their potential and instilling a love of dance.



Student Teacher & Assistant

Lexi has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has loved dance ever since.

Lexi has participated in the Energy Express Eisteddfod, Western Region and Inner West Region in 2015, 2016 and 2017 in both the Showgroup and Duo competitions. She placed 1st in Hip Hop Showgroup and 1st in Duo in the lnner West Region four years ago.  Lexi has also placed 3rd in the Hip Hop Showgroup and 3rd in Duo. More recently, Lexi placed 1st in the Hip Hop Showgroup Energy Express Eisteddfod.

Lexi currently dances at Bondi Dance Company and has been there for over 10 years. She dances the styles of Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop and Commercial Jazz.
